So, we have two "Casper" games in the SNES/SFC. Both have Natsume involved in it, but as developer of one (this one) and publisher of the other, developed by Absolute and released in the west. "I am abandoning this project because the intro contains compressed text and a few cutscenes use a sprite-based font which I cannot hack. As is, all in-game dialogue is translated and inserted, so I consider the game very playable, even if incomplete." Translation Credits: Released by: tashi Status: Unfinished Patch: v0.94 Release date: 13 march 2012 Source and details: https://www.romhacking.net/abandoned/

I loved the PS1 game, me and my brother used to rent it all the time from Blockbuster but never did manage to complete it. Thinking about it now, we really should have bought a copy instead of renting it so many times haha.

i thought someone actually went back and released a finished version of this one, i remembered enjoying this Casper and wishing we got this in the west instead of that crappy Clock Tower knock-off we got instead.

I was really surprised to find out that despite this version sharing the same box art as the western release and the fact that Natsume was involved with both games, they're actually different from one another.
Yeah. I need to confirm it yet, because I've seen Nihon Soft System being mentioned as well.... maybe there's a confusion about Natsume and this version, so I'll do some research when I find more time and patience.
