Cartoons that made you cry (sorry if this has been done before)

I neglected to add this video to my post about The Transformers movie. The moment that angered parents everywhere, made children cry, and apparently had the makers of the movie receiving complaint letters that not only affected future episodes of the show, but supposedly lead to a notable change to the script for the G.I. Joe movie

That one scene in the first SpongeBob movie. (If you know which scene I’m referring to, you know). That scene is still pretty difficult for me to watch.

Also that one scene in the Simpsons Movie where Marge and the kids leave Homer in Alaska and Marge’s farewell video. Leaving Homer broken.


And Toy Story 3 and Up broke me.

There aint a cartoon that made me shed one tear .

But few Animes did and its way much harder than i expected .

Hokuto No Ken :
Just Rei and Yurias unavoidable deaths . Rei was an honourable bro that helped out Kenshiro and wanted to safe his sister . His death was just tragic .
For Yuria its just overall the whole situation that a good man losing his loyal and great girl/wife is something i never wish anyone happen .

Vampire Hunter D : Bloodlust :
The Vampire which D hunted , just wanted to be with his true love forever on the moon in Peace which he couldnt harm the humans anymore . The end just wrecked me a bit.

Kinnikuman (didnt expected that , huh?!):
Lately watching the old Kinnikuman-anime and i love it for being the pinnacle of an bro-anime . For an humorous shonen anime , it stings really hard at times with tragedy and loss that i never would expect from it.
Robin-mask alone .... man with honor and a cool character too .... his story later on just wrecked my heart . And im right 50 episodes in its still the beginning overall . I know the feels-ride wont stop but man .... i like this show way too much to stop it !

Now, there's only one scene that ever got me. I was like, "That went too far mang...."

In Hokuto No Ken, where Fudo the Mountain meets his fate. The fight between him and Raoh was intense, but Raoh got em. And in front of all the orphan kids Fudo was taking care of.

The fact that we got to see Fudo before in flashbacks of how much of a prick he was, then turned his life around, and even cared for a bunch of children that wouldn't have survived without him. Then we see Raoh kill him, and the screams of the kids as he falls... Ken arrives too late, just in time to hear Fudo's last words as he dies in front of all his kids.
I was like... Damn...

Perfect Pear was and still is one of my favorite episodes from the FiM. It's such great and sad story packed within those 21 minutes.

This made me realize that Samurai Jack Season 5's ending reminded me of this.

It's a small thing, but that reaching out moment at 0:47 is very touching

This is my least favorite movie in the series as I think this moment nearly did irreparable damage to Toothless as a character. If I was a writer I would consider this an insane thing to do with one of your main characters.

Po's past with the music and the dynamic visuals still give me chills to this day.

Anime I could list a few. More than I would like to admit.

But purely cartoons?

I can only think of one, it's obscure, It's not a cartoon but rather CGI, I was 7 at the time. But the death of CHAS hit hard.

I remember asking my father why did he have to die and my he gave me the whole "War is bad" speech for the first time.
That was probably the first time I not only recognised death in media and associated it as a real and tangible thing that could happen to anyone.
Sure I cried in the cinema year earlier watching the Pokemon but Ash got better. Besides, that's anime.
