Cancelled games you would love to see finished?

Hey RGT. I would like to know which games you would like to see to completion that were cancelled, even if they were released as a different version later on.

For me, nothing would please me more than to see RE4's development materials combined together into a finished version of what it was going for. There are 3 versions, the Castle, Hallucination, and Zombie versions, that were sadly discarded as the development moved towards action for the release version instead of the survival horror of before. The story was to advance the story of the prior sequels in a way that was truer to the established series convention imo. It had the potential to surpass RE REmake as the best survival horror game of all time. So to resurrect it and finish it, with the same director and dev team, would do great justice to the classic Resident Evil I believe.

Steambot Chronicles 2 is the eternal "one that got away," for me. What an absolute legend of a game that would've been. And, it was something the PS3 desperately needed in its lineup.

From what I researched, the dev team was sad when the internal shake up happened, the shift from survival horror to action. It took persuasion by the newer director who dismissed the previous one to make the changes towards action.

Only the zombie versions, the others were discarded because of technical/budget reasons, and then there's Devil may Cry.

So you want yo bring them all together but you want Hibashi to direct it? Or Mikami?
or Kamiya? (last one is a joke)
