Switch Can we talk about the new exclusive From soft game ?

Am I crazy for thinking THIS is crazy ? Releasing a game like this on the switch is on many levels a BIIIIG Power move and for me so far it's the best showcase in the direct so far

I actually thought this was some soulslike from Korean/Chinese at first. Was certainly not expecting From to be behind it.
Not really sure about it being multiplayer only, Nightreign's testing phase was eh, and it lacked replay value. But I might be wrong about that one

Probably the funniest reveal out of everything. The whole thing felt like a strategic play because Nintendo knows the souls sell, & even went the extra mile to basically answer Bloodborne 2 prayers lol. Sure, it probably won't be forever exclusive but hey, it's definitely a game you want to show if you're gonna sell a system!

Like with the Sekiro reveal, I'm kind of confused. I'd like to see some more gameplay before I jump to any conclusions.

I loved Bloodborne, but I thought Elden Ring was sort of uninteresting, and I never played Sekiro because of a knee-jerk reaction towards it not having any RPG mechanics, so we'll see which direction this one goes.

The flying robot thing was cool, though.

I was extremely mad seeing that it was an exclusive but then saw that it is a PvPvE multiplayer and had a huge sigh of relief. Like yeah Nintendo you can keep it lol

Honestly, it looks mediocre, just another ARPG that will never be even 20% as deep or fun as Dragon's Dogma, also the T Rex looks terrible compared to the one in Ninja Gaiden 3 razor's Edge.

I was really happy when I saw Fromsoftware flash on the screen and even happier seeing the game being something new but then incredibly sad when it turned out to be a Switch 2 exclusive. Not certain how to feel at this point or if I will end up buying the console.

I suppose it wouldn't be such a bad deal since it's backwards compatible with the original Switch's library and has all these newer, exclusive games coming out for it but I'm still entirely not sure about that. Maybe I will maybe I won't but it's a new Miyazaki game.

Throughout the video I was waiting for the gameplay to show up, but was disappointed to not see any. Bloodborne is my favorite FromSoft game and it's nice to see some glimmer of that, but apparently this is a solely multiplayer game and it's exclusive to Switch. I'll just wait for more information.

it kinda caught me off guard not being a traditional souls but a PVPVE, i don't like this format either tbh but at least it's not like nightriegn where it feels like playing rounds, I hope it's more story focused at least

yeah it feels like the new eldenring game is more a beta for this other game but hopefully will get a specific direct to it

I can Guarantee you From soft would looooooove to make more games on the switch, and with this new Nintendo mentality of fuck it ill do it myself, I'd wager that they want something like Tenshu with a new installment on that bitch ASAP

hmmmm everyone pointing the PVPVE, i guess the new elden ring isn't a hit after all
