Can we just talk about the new background?

What's up with the new background? I'm not saying it looks bad but it's umm... well... absolutely horrible.
Is there any way to change it back?

I see things like Evangelion and plenty of RE2... no complaints

But it should be made darker (and I guess, brighter if one's using the bright theme).

It makes anything outside of the text boxes nearly unreadable. Usually I don't even leave the depository and it still irks me that something somewhere functions suboptimally. At least put some shadows behind the naked letters.

Couldn't it be optional? Still, I think people would like it more it it was way darker/brighter, depending on theme.

For the record, I was joking when I said this

Simply make unreadable readable. Either put the text that's outside of boxes into neat new boxes all of its own or add outline to the font so the text doesn't blend with the background. That's it.

It wasn't bad, just made things bad to read, if there's any admins reading this, I'm sure you've seen how Newgrounds looks, maybe even got inspired by it, but everything is in it's own box and is readable, and the background also fades away the more you scroll down. I think it was the right idea and with some tweaking it can look great
