Highly recommend 20th Century Boys (same author as Monster), I Am A Hero (character driven zombie thriller), Dai Dark (sci-fi action dark comedy), Blame (despair filled dark sci-fi), Knights of Sidonia (despair filled dark mecha sci-fi)

Most of my manga recs are slice of life, comedies, romcoms/ecchis or magical girls so I might have a hard time helping you there 😅
Bobobo and Gintama are my go-to comedies.
You’ve already monster and berserk so I can’t recommend those….
How about… Parasyte maybe? It does vaguely fit within what you mention.

If you're fine with it being short, the Black Rock Shooter mangas are actually quite good, in my opinion. I don't read a lot of manga and am a fan of the franchise, so take that rec with a grain of salt.

If you like Batman specially The Dark knight movie read Zetman. Is about the origin story of two superheroes and their fight against monsters called Players

Gachiakuta
Jujutsu Kaisen
20th century boys.
Vinland Saga

Reading all these and I am sad to see that no one has recommened Claymore yet, a Dark Fantasy manga.

A little synopsys from Wiki.

"The series is set on a fictional medieval island where humans are plagued by Yoma, humanoid shape-shifters that feed on humans. A mysterious group, known as The Organization, creates human-Yoma hybrids to kill Yoma for a fee. These female warriors wear armored uniforms. The public refer to them as "Claymores", alluding to their claymore swords, or "Silver-eyed Witches", due to their silver eyes."

the manga version of sidonia no kishi (knights of sidonia) is great and from what i've heard blame is great too and also made by the same mangaka.

arpeggio of blue steel is also good, and yes all of them has an anime the thing is pretty much filled with cgi so its definitely up to the viewer whether they like it or not.

Well my favorite is Berserk but you already read it, some else already recommended my second favorite Vinland Saga. So... what about a slice of life ruined by a monster?

Warning, this is not a happy read. Negative values of wholesomeness.
"The illusion of that person leads me astray. This is the ultimate favoritism."
