That's great
A little unfortunate that it seems most of the time inferior MSX ports instead of original superior PC88/98 versions got translation
Maybe because MSX was popular in Europe or it easier to hack

Good news nonetheless

So am I!! Thanks a lot Pinours007 to share this incredible news!! Actually, Burai is literally the second RPG series that I wish to get translated!! The first one was the whole Tengai Makyou franchise!! I am super happy about that, and as Tortuga said above. I'd rather go to the PC88 version, but I think that MSX2 version is very competent too. I have visited the translators webpage, and they seem very passionate about the project!! Because, Burai has an amazing narrative, with great plot twists along the way. It is also a dream come true, when I knew that such a game exists! Shingo Araki ranks among the upper echalant of my fave character designs, and seing that he himself was deeply involved, not only in the design, but the whole conception of the game, and best of all, being an RPG?! Blew my mind when I found out!! This game, Burai and Tengai Makyou Manjimaru where the two games I was much hyped about getting a translation!! After finishing Tengai Makyou Zirya, in 2023 I was eager to jump right in into the sequel. It's been almost 2 years right know!! There are Samurai Spirits RPG, the second Sakura Taisen all translated, but still I am once again replaying Zirya!! Samurai Spirits is a game that I was antecipating so much and has an AMAZING translation, and I will finish it someday! Sakura Wars 1 and 2 are great strategy/visual novel endevours, however I am not in the mode to datesim anyone, I like more of a straightford RPG experience!! So I am veeeeery hyped about this translation!! God bless the team behind this work of passion!! I am in loss of words to express my gratitude towards those heroes who spend their precious time, to bring those gems to us!!

Fun fact, since i've read an old article in a french retrogaming site, Tengai Makyou IV The Apocalypse on Saturn is still one of the most wanted game for translation I have for almost a decade, even if I didn't played a lot of jrpg honestly. I know that right now we just have a machine translation for the PSP remaster.

MSX2 version is better than PC88. The coder of MSX2 version was very skilled. It allowed to even use smooth horizontal scroll in the intro. Also, game uses more than 8 colors (compared to PC88) version. And now game uses Turbo mode on Panasonic Turbo-R and some MSX2+ as well. So the game expirience will be better than PC88.
