Se debe por las limitaciones técnicas de la Famicom/NES en el apartado técnico que es más detallado que el juego anterior y otra razón es las Ralentizaciones de mostrar varios sprites en pantalla haciendo que la Famicom/NES solo pueda mostrar hasta 8 sprites en pantalla aunque con parpadeo por lo que hizo imposible tener un modo de 2 Jugadores en Cooperativo para el juego.

Thanks for the explanation, friend. Double Dragon 1 was also on the NES, and it was due to the lack of experience of the Technos Japan team that's why there isn't co-op multiplayer (there's already a hack that made it a reality).
 
Lo que no entiendo es por qué este juego no tiene modo cooperativo simultáneo como el juego anterior.

It is due to the technical limitations of the Famicom/NES in the technical section that is more detailed than the previous game and another reason is the Slowdowns of showing several sprites on the screen making the Famicom/NES can only show up to 8 sprites on the screen although with flickering so it made it impossible to have a 2 Player Co-op mode for the game.
 
My Mom and I played alot of the original when I was growing up. It was one of my first NES games ever. I only rented this one a few times, but really enjoyed the style choices for NES. Same with the GB version. My Mom was never able to play this one I don't think. It's probably for the better because she'd me mad about the lack of co-op
 
It is just as playable as its predecessor, although unlike the previous installment, it cannot be played as 2 players in co-op but alternated (For Every Turn You Lose a Life). And as a curiosity, this was the direct sequel to the original game.
