I used to play this game a lot as a kid, it's still my favorite entry in the series. Being an old game it can have compatibility issues on new windows, included Open source Compatibility fix for direct draw to make it run properly either in windowed mode or in full screen, choose your preference in the settings, unfortunately there is also no music. Tested on Win7 and Win10.

When i m booting the game i am geting a message "insert Bobo2 CD-ROM"

I added an Alt link I hope this one fixes the issue, can you test it and get back to me, please?

Though I haven't admittedly tested them; I've seemingly found copies of Bubble Bobble Hero 1 and 3 online. There was also seemingly a Bubble Bobble Hero 4, has anyone here experienced that? It looked really neat!

I tried it again earlier today and it ran fine on my laptop, it seems to happen to some people, if so please this this it may help.

I also saw this comment but idk how to implement this fix, maybe someone else can explain.

NO-CD [removing the message and the audio check from the executable allowing you to play it without having your cd inserted in the pc]

I think it's possible for this game to be playable on Dreamcast since it's completely 2D

Thankyou so much for preserving this! I've had a fascination with the Bubble Bobble Hero games for a bit, and they're all seemingly so hard to find online in the english speaking space. Always love me a good Bubble bobble clone with some weird little guys in it! Thankyou for spreading Brave Bubble Dragon <3

For an unofficial game in the Bubble Bobble series, it looks good and taking into account that it is also one of the games that use a resolution of 640x480 instead of 320x200, so it looks quite nice and less pixelated for a PC game and at the same time it uses the password system instead of the save system.

Honestly I never knew it's unofficial until researching for this upload, all my life I assumed it was official and often wondered why it's never been re-released, this might be nostalgia speaking but imo this is the best Bubble Bobble game in the series.

Some people reported the CD rom thing, it didn't happen to me so I figured maybe is an old issue, anyway I saw comments saying this video solves it.
