Neat homebrew I found on reddit that puts the entire BotW Map on a DS ROM, but only the terrain. No structures or buildings. You can walk around, but not much more than that. The only emulator it seems to run in is Desmume. MelonDS and DraStic do not run it.

Nobody really knows who made it yet. It was found on a secondhand flashcart by a Redditor.

EDIT: The rom isn't uploading through an attached file. Is it okay to add a Google Drive link?

EDIT2: Turns out the thread had an old build. I don't have links to the current one, and the developer doesn't want the old build spread around. You can check out info over here, in the pinned comment:

It fucking WHAT? Someone ported BOTW to the DS anonymously!? That’s a deep dive YouTube video I need to see!
Same. I would eat that video like Halloween candy.

But, honestly, people do all sorts of incredible things without taking any credit for them... the original Spanish translation to "Strife" was anonymous, and that game is HUGE.

Quite a few Doom WADs have just... showed up as well.

Sincerely impressive!
Some people's work is so bewildering at times...

Wow... even as a technical demo or walking simulator of sorts, that's honestly really impressive.

I do wonder why it resists so many emulators, though... DraStic seems to run anything you throw at it.
You're right about that,DraStic emulates games quite well in most cases.
I remember that in one of those that if there were problems, at least in my case and when I tried it was the game Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, during the invocations and even in the battles...?

Despite being a technical demo and at the same time a fanport that is in development, it is incredible that as such a large, demanding and extensive game it can run on a DS since it has more limitations than the Wii you and the Switch, but the community that is developing the fanport is taking it to another level and at the same time getting the most out of the DS.
