Hi everyone, it didn't feel right not posting an introduction on this forum after using CDRomance for so many years. I'm a college student trying my best to survive computer engineering. I have an internship as an artist in a videogame company, trying to learn more about drawing as I keep living. I've been in the emulation scene for as long as I can remember, ever since childhood.
My favourite game of all time is Titanfall 2 but some other favourites include the Metal Gear Solid series, Silent Hill series, Resident Evil series, Terraria, Team Fortress 2, Metroid.
I'm an avid comic book and manga reader, currently reading Zatch Bell, Transformers (2023), New X-Men (2001) and I'm looking to start Absolute Batman any day now...
Favourite console is the PSP, even though I know that's a handheld... But still. Also the DS, GBA/GBC, PS1, PS2, GameCube and Wii.
Favourite anime is FLCL, but Mob Psycho 100, Space Dandy and Hajime no Ippo are up there for sure too.
Favourite comic is Matt Fraction's Hawkeye, but I also love IDW's Transformers More Than Meets The Eye, IDW's Transformers Wreckers Saga.
Favourite manga is Real by Takehiko Inoue, Slam Dunk, Vagabond, Vinland Saga... I think you're noticing a pattern.
And of course if my entire profile and the title to this introduction didn't make it obvious I'm a gigantic fan of Yu-Gi-Oh. I play the physical card game a hell of a lot more than Master Duel but that's mostly because I don't have time to grind for URs right now to finish my decks from the paper game. I also play the old Yu-Gi-Oh retro games and I'm impatiently waiting for the collection to come out and revisit some of those old games on the Switch, as well as get that nice Harpie's Feather Duster QCR.
Well, if any of you share any interests I'm more than open to talk about them!
