the second stage's music (On the Move, Bad Dudes) is such an under-rated banger for NES tunes. this hack is pretty cool. but i might be a bit bias- Big Trouble remains my favorite film of all-time. there's just too much to love, every frame is gold.

If you patch the right rom, it eliminates the graphic issues in Mesen. First patch with Big Trouble in Little China on Dragon Ninja (Asia) (Ja) (Pirate).nes. Then, patch that rom with the DX patch.

I used the rom provided by Pacnsacdave blog with his patch already applied, then added the Crying Onion patch. So there will have problems on Mesen.
