They have a very distinct, tabletop-like aesthetic where everything is made of cards and you have a faux DM narrating the experience, but at their core they're turn-based JRPGs. The second game, The Forsaken Maiden, is definitely the best one - be warned though, they're all quite slow-paced experiences.
