What are some of the best RPGs for the PS vita?

I've already got all 10 Atelier games, what else should I look out for?

Honestly beyond lots of rubbish 2D games and visual novels my favorite is this action JRPG: https://retrogametalk.com/repository/vita/freedom-wars-usa/

The game is in my top 10 best video games of all time.

If you like Radiata Stories and wanna play a game that has a slightly the same taste you may play this action JRPG: https://retrogametalk.com/repository/vita/phantasy-star-nova-english-patched/

I can hardly recommend this game to people who don't even care about Metal Max series especially because despite it's a weird mix of action and turn based JRPG, its BS visual novel aspect and BS pervertism may be off putting to some players: https://retrogametalk.com/repository/vita/metal-max-xeno-english-patched/

These days I'm curious about this series and wanna try them soon. They seem valuable to play:

Other than these after I roamed around the huge desert of PS Vita library I really didn't find any other RPG that would matter to me lol.

Ok.
Persona 4 Golden is a must for me.
Digimon Cyber Sleuth, I only played the first one but they say the second one is better
Darkest Dungeon if you like to suffer.
Tales of Hears and Tales of Innocence(Eng Patch) are my favs of the Tales of
Trails of Cold Steel, currently finishing the first one
Ys
Dragon quest heroes 2(eng patch)
Odin Sphere, I played the ps2 version I think the vita version is even better.
Those are the ones that come to mind that I played and loved.

2nd one is "better" in the context of it seems developers learned to develop a better game with better progression from how story progress to how gameplay is. It doesn't feel "empty" as much as the 1st game but both games equally suffer from even before half way to the end you feel like you're wasting your time playing the game lol. Yet if you liked the 1st game I would say you have more reason to like 2nd game.

Maybe I just love Digimon and RPG that I did not feel like that ahahhaha, but I get your point.

My only issue with Cyber Sleuth is the ungodly amount of text there is to read. Fantastic game though other than the deluge of words bestowed upon the player.

Some of it is really neat stuff though just other times it can get pedantic. I never finished it because of that but I will get back into it some day (I have on steam)
