Hi middler! Nice to see you here, thanks for your input : )I am hoping I don't remember this incorrectly but with GT1 you are given a very sad starting car but you can do the first race a few times and buy yourself a used Mitsubishi FTO or GTO (i cant remember exactly) and upgrade it to be one of the best non specialized cars in the game.
Its the game in the series I got the furthest in. A good racing time.
Awesome, thanks ?I would say to start with GT1, but mainly for the license tests. They give you a good feel for what the series is asking of you longterm. I don't remember if the later entries have trickier tests or not, but I do remember first game being easier overall. I can vouch for middler's GTO strategy, but I personally went with a GT3000 and eventually got 100% on the first one. Mostly to see the 60fps levels. The main thing is, have fun!
i thought the 3000GT wasn't available until GT2. The 3000GT was one of my dream cars and i remember being bummed that I couldn't have one in GT1. The GTO being the predecessor to the 3000GT was the best I could do.I would say to start with GT1, but mainly for the license tests. Thanks, Chilean bud!All of them ?............
..........I recommend Gran Turismo 2 or 4, although my favorite is 6
Yeah. It might be listed as just a GTO, but I think the naming convention varied between regions? The one I had was red, and the main reason I remember it is because it helped me clear so much content that when I got GT2, I tried the same method and quickly learned it was... not great, when it came to rally specifically.i thought the 3000GT wasn't available until GT2. Am i remembering incorrectly here?
Good question and great topic btwTopic.
sad truth here :( the 3000GT did not hold up in GT2. As i recall in GT2 you really needed 4 good vehicles, front drive, rear drive, all wheel, and a rally. the other specifics you didn't have to go crazy with upgrades on like the classic car races and whatnot.Yeah. As a Forza player you will get the most from GT with the newer the game you play. GT1 is my fav because it is the most arcade-y, they get more and more technical simulation with each release. I never played a Forza myself but it is my understanding that they are very faithful driving sims. I do like Forza Horizon 5 lots however :)I am a Forza 1, 2 player. Played Forza 5 and 6 but that was the end. I'm currently running GT2 simulation and been having some gameplay satisfaction once you get a few dollars and get to tuning. Just more tracks in Forza. Wish GT2 had more tracks.
neither really are, they are both just simcades that let you do races in real cars that you can buy and upgrade yourself and physics wise both series have been mostly on par with one another... which is to say below any "actual" commercial sims of the past 2 decades and sometimes even other console simcades(oh hi there enthusia). it really just depends on whether you grew up with one or the other or have access to an xbox though stay FAAAAAAAAAAR away from the most recent forza motorsport game as that one is a huge stinkerbut it is my understanding that they are very faithful driving sims.
I don’t have a ps5! xDI mean if you have a ps5 you can download a free gran turismo game. it's pretty bare but it's a decent start. It's called my first gran turismo.
i remember the GTO on GT1 because i actually brought a non turbo version when i left school because of that car lol i think the gt3000 is the 2x turboi thought the 3000GT wasn't available until GT2.
