Best games in ps2 ??

There are a lot of games that can be called a good game in ps2 but who is the best of theme ??

Do you have a genre in mind? The PS2's library is massive so you'll need to be more specific.

There's always the usually recommendations like Metal Gear Solid 3 and Devil May Cry. There's also Dragon Quest 8 and Tony Hawk 3. It all depends on what kind of games you enjoy.

Shadow Hearts if you like RPGs.
Twisted Metal Black or Head On if you like Car Combat
Soulcalibur 3 or Bloody Roar 3/4 for Fighting.
Zone of the Enders for Action.

Again, everyone will recommend the same overrated and more known games, but there is a huge list and lots of gems in the PS2 library.

I've always liked the "Onimusha" series but I can see folks flaking out on the tank controls. A pretty sweet RPG I've always liked was a game called "Okage: Shadow King" Another interesting one I can think of is "Way Of The Samurai" last two I can name off the top of my dome is "Shining Force Neo/EXA" and "Max Payne" Idunno if these would count as the best but I've had a blast with them and I got a feeling folks could agree

A somewhat overlooked game (considering the massive library) but both katamari games are so good

Silent Hill 3, Haunting Ground and Fatal Frame (Mostly because of that "based on a true story" stuff.).
Though My real answer has to be any of the games on the SSD inside my PS2.

Yes, an undub without spanish. Not subtitles in all cutscenes, and no subtitles for unscripted in-game chatter. But minor stuff, very very playble.
