So we all know the gaming franchise of Fallout right...? Anyhow I always wondered from the many versions of Fallout which
version people liked here the most.
So frankly tell me which is your Favorite and least Favorite Fallout Game and why.

for me personally it would be Fallout 3 just out of nostalgia otherwise it would be Fallout New Vegas with fallout 4 the least one from the once I played.
I also tried to list a few Games from the franchise I think I got everything but feel free to add a game if I missed one.

1 and 2 are quintessential role playing games, do not call yourself an rpg lover if you haven't played these. (I'm kidding or am I).

3 was a great interpretation in 3D, though there was still a bit to tweak mechanically. New Vegas did try to add some mechanics to be more welcoming but it was still the same for the most part.

4's oversimplification of statistics/perks/choices lends for a much more streamline experience, immersive even but it was risky, they bit the modern gaming bullet too much. (Starfield feels like an evolution of 3/New Vegas than 4 so at least they know).

My favorite is 2, always has been but I've enjoyed them all.

When I was much younger I tried to play Fallout 1. Need to say, other RPG-like game (sorta) I’ve experienced at that time was only Diablo.

So, I was totally lost from the beginning with no idea what to do and some mutant ant (I don’t remember clearly) killed me in first encounter. I thought, “what a stupid game, why everyone is so crazy about it” and avoided anything labeled as Fallout since then.

Not sure if I should give it another attempt after all these years, I’m actually not into post-apocalyptic theme that much.

You should give fallout New Vegas or Fallout 3 a chance

There's a goddamn pinball game?!

But my favorite one remains Brotherhood Of Steel on PS2.

Play Fallout 3 its easier to get in and it has a good Story and when you want a deeper game play Fallout New Vegas those are the once I would recommend.

I found it very easy to pick up and play, whilst also providing a nice challenge and an interesting world to explore. I beat it and unlocked everything because I enjoyed it THAT much.

Well, I'll try to play the game..

Well I am happy that you could find fun in that game despite the hate it gets.
All that matters is that you like it

I was mildly interested in it to when I heard about it but well reviews of the game discouraged me to buy it.

My experience with gaming was limited to the Playstation 2, but I couldn't afford to buy many video game consoles in my country; they're already too expensive.

Fallout 4 is my favorite. Yes new vegas as much much better story for sure but when it comes to game play and such it´s outdated and MEH.

yes I grew up playing Fallout 1 and 2 in the 90s but my god I never been fan of Isometric games I like to have proper camera control and fully be able to see my charter. Honestly isometrics is bascily you looking down at ants trying to see what the fak they are doing.

Also Fallout 4 makes the power armor most justice becuse it makes it in to a POWER armor instead of cloths you put on that has the highest defense.

But my favorite one remains Brotherhood Of Steel on PS2.
Now that's a take you don't see every day. I find it nice that someone isn't just downplaying it for once, and actually had a fun time with the game.

I never owned a ps2 so I never played this, but I've never found a convincing argument for why it was bad, other than "uh it isn't an rpg uh".

I never found anything objectively wrong with the game: mechanics worked as intended, characters had a lot of personality, maps weren't confusing to navigate (even though they WERE mazes) and the whole thing felt addicting to me.

The game fully justifies its more than 3GBs of data and very little of it seems to have gone towards eye candy or pointless dialogue, cramming instead environmental objects and large groups of enemies in every major area.

I'm sure there are legit problems with this one, but I could never find that one deal-breaker issue.

The Sims (2000).

Wait, wrong thread, I hesitate between the first and New Vegas.

Fallout Tactics is probably my favorite game in the series and i normally don't even like tactical games
its done really well but the game is kinda broken, even on steam you need mods for it to work properly
but its worth the hassle
