hola its me 106 I recently acquired a NEW 3ds XL that was absolutely beat to crap and I plan on fully restoring it, I never grew up with a DS so I have no idea what to play or what to do with it, Ive modded multiple of them for commissions before but never touched them for myself, what games do yall recommend?

also pics of the 3DS so I can show how bad condition it is, I ordered a majoras mask shell for it so it wont be ugly anymore also got it working since when I found it I couldn’t get a charge out lf it

Here's a few that I don't think have been mentioned yet:

Contact - this is a pretty odd RPG by Grasshopper, though it's nothing like any of their other games - it reminded me of Moon RPG on PS1 more than anything else. It has some flaws, but the visual style, great soundtrack, and often funny script were enough to make up for some of the mechanics being a bit half-baked. Helps that it's short and doesn't outstay its welcome.

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier and Endless Frontier Exceed - These are from Monolith Soft (Baten Kaitos, Xenosaga etc), and use a similar combat system to the Project X-Zone games. The combat is turn-based but you input your actions manually, and there's an emphasis on juggling enemies and building up combos - it's not super deep but very fun. The script is a bit grotty - endless boob jokes and the like - but if you don't mind that then they're great RPGs. Exceed is quite a bit better than Endless Frontier, but the story carries on directly so you'd want to play them in order.

Aliens: Infestation - bite-sized metroidvania with nice sprite work. Really good as far as licensed games go.

Bangai-o Spirits - Very fun cross between a 2d shooter and puzzle game.
