Best destructive environments in gaming?

Recently, I've been downloading a lot of abandonware titles for my PCSX2 emulator, and one of those games is a little first person shooter simply titled Black. It was a smash hit back in the day, but nowadays it's more well known for its insane destructibility, being an OTT action shooter inspired by 1980s macho action movies where guns don't just fire a bullet; they fire a WHOLE bullet. Because of this guns have large magazines and cause a lot of destruction to the environments where the game takes place in.

Playing that game is what caused me to start this thread and make it my induction alongside F.E.A.R., its expansions, and F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. I just love destroying environments in action games, so let's talk about it!

Red Faction on PS2 had some destructible environment stuff, but Red Faction Guerilla on PS3/360 (idk if there is a PC version?) really amped up the destruction aspect and it's really great.

[edit - there is a PC version and it's like $4 on sale on steam right now, looks like it includes the original Guerilla and some remastered version]

I kinda liked how Metal Gear Rising did its destructible environments. Even if they go unnoticed 99% of the time.
