Best console for emulation (not including pc) in your opinion

I've heard a lot of good things about Xbox Series S, but I don't own one so I can't say for sure.

I picked up a used Wii at a Goodwill for about $20 and after a few minutes of hacking it now plays just about every game ever made before the 6th Generation, plus all of Nintendo's 6th and 7th generation games.

if you have a console from ps2 generation onwards, that is a good choice. For my ps2 slim because it can emulate games from my childhood without problems and can also run ps1 and ps2 games. It is the perfect size for easy transport and travel.
Another ideal option is an android tv, which is not a game console but you can install emulators on it and it is compact.

my wii has been the cornerstone of good vibes in my living room. found a crt at a goodwill not long ago and having options from gamecube to genesis to even tg16 games has saved my wii from obscurity. all these years later it holds on as an emulation beast that provides in spades. peep our lil setup
