I spent a bit of time looking and, honestly, I don't think I've finished a "big" release since 2020. I don't even know what exactly turned me off them, I just put them down for the day and never wanted to go back. x) The big companies are just really pissing me off too. The biggest thing is the rapid execution and absorption of staff and developers. That's nothing new, who liked Westwood anyway? It's not like Dune 2 basically created RTS games as we know them now or anything. Embracer Group and NetEase can go to hell, along with many others. Can't have modest hits anymore, a game needs to make 100x it's profit in a week or people and/or studios get nuked, even if the game was received very well. Blah blah blah, I don't have anything new to say so I'll just stop rambling. I think places like this are more than aware of modern day video game practices. Frankly, I hope most "big" and/or live service games just choke to death and all the talented workers go off to form worthwhile studios. [/QUOTE]
