At first I thought "oh shit I missed out on watching this live" but then I peeped the announcements (and watched the Kyle Bosman video) and my god what a non-event

🥱Code Vein II. I'll just replay Dark Souls but thanks.
🥱Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree. Roguelites aren't usually my thing (this is billed as a Japanese Hades more or less) but I like the fish man because he looks cool as hell, and the furry girl for altogether different reasons.
🥱Shadow Labyrinth. I don't think anyone was clamoring for an edgy Metroidvania take on Pac-Man. Looks like a one-trick pony in an oversaturated genre.
🥱Little Nightmare III. I don't know. Whatever.
🥱Everybody's Golf: Hotshots. I like that they worked both titles in there like Resident Evil: Biohazard and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Not a golf guy but I wish it all the best.
🥱Digimon Story: Time Stranger. I like the main character's 60s go-go dancer drip. Not a Digimon guy but again, happy for it.
🥱Tekken 8 DLC. I don't know, not a fighting game guy, but I flipped a coin to decide my level of disinterest. It landed on tails, meaning 'moderate'
🥱Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot: Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm: Part 1: Revengeance. I think I would have absolutely loved DBZ Kakarot when I was a teenager but my interest toward DBZ has waned over time. Like Naruto, I'll check out what the new characters look like on the wiki every now and then, but that's it. It's funny they're still releasing story DLC for a game from 2020 but I'll give them credit for refraining from a full $70 release
🥱New roles in Death Note Amogus Edition. It's fine.
🥱Super Robot Wars Y. "Y" should I care about the thousandth damn game in this series?
🥱The Blood of Dawnwalker, a "dark fantasy AAA RPG" with vampires. Directed by the Witcher 3 guy. Cool I guess but it doesn't look like anything I haven't played before
🥱 Another fucking My Hero Academia 3D arena fighter. Isn't this like their fourth attempt? Get out of my goddamn house

Overall, a big stinky C-. I'll admit I'm probably being too cynical here but most of these games were already announced and I expect more from something that has the gall to call itself a "showcase". But what did you think?

yeah wasn't expecting too much actually but it would be cool to see something related to the Tales of franchise, thanks for the info tho

LOOOOL my very exact reaction to each one except Digimon of course cuz I’m big into Digimon and the new will rock my world. Was pretty addicted to the first two CS games.

I don't like how they b#$t f&+k mi lovely pizza friend Puckman whit the edgy 2000 take, o well

Code Vein 2, Towa, Shadow Labyrinth, Little Nightmare, Everybody Golf, Digimon, DBZ Kakarot, Super Robot Wars, Dawnwalker and the My Hero game is what im looking forward too.

Patapon i already played on the PSP and i played Death Note on PS5 already (Great Game btw) and 100% platinum it.

I wish they showed Tales of, Ace Combat and some DLC for Bleach tho

tbh I don't even know what I'd want from them at this point. That stuff all sounds fine, also all sounds like 'wait for a sale' level stuff for me

🥱Super Robot Wars Y. "Y" should I care about the thousandth damn game in this series?
It is okay if you don't, I DO. Huge Super robot fan, and I definitely want to get this too. 30+ years with so many collabs with many many many anime, tv, tokusatsu series entering the franchise.

Thanks for the TL:DW
I'm hoping Shadow Labyrinth pleasantly surprises me, but I'm not holding my breath

Yeah, I saw the announcements. And I already know about Shadow Labyrinth, and Everybody's Golf, but the rest is just anime DBZ, Naruto, Gundam, Bandai filler games. No mention of Pac-Man World Re-Pac 2, IdolM@ster or any Namco arcade classics.

At least they're pushing SRW Y really hard when it comes to marketing unlike with 30, even tho they didn't announce anything new at the showcase

Godzilla being a part of it might attract quite a few people into playing this game, despite Singular Point never getting a second season 😔

I thought they were going to show another Tales of thing? Either way everything else on that list bores me.

Sad Cry GIF

Also kinda shocked Digimon isn't on Switch 2....
