Genesis Ayrton Senna racing game from 1992

Ayrton Senna got his own racing game in 1992 called Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II on the Mega Drive.

He made F1 10 times more popular in Brazil, the Mega Drive, actually "won" the console wars in Brazil (so much so it is still being sold as a cheap alternative to modern consoles) so it make's sense to for Sega to capitalize on the popularity of both, by developing a game endorsed by him.

My guess is Sega made the sequel to Super Monaco GP and just used him as a way to sell copies. Same deal with Mike Tyson and Punch-Out.

I thought the game I posted above was the only Senna game until now.

Imagine how this game was popular in Brazil back in the day.

I remember seeing ads for this all the time. And I also remember not being able to win a SINGLE race lol.
Even to this day I can't figure out why I can't win in this hell of a videogme lol.

BUT, even thought the historical aspects of this game are amazing, the better F-1 games on the Mega Drive were made by that company called Domark.
