The coffee shop I work at has a set way of doing things, so I like to experiment in my spare time. There's a few different things I've found a preference for.

I don't have personal memories but there were stories and photos so there's some sort of nostalgia? I would love to go back for a visit to experience it myself.

I am partial to Indian food.

Hello and welcome. I have asked this question to others, but maybe you can answer me better. Why has the cost of coffee increased so much in recent years (at the supermarket and especially in bars)? I am referring mainly to Europe, but I think it depends on America. Regards.

I can only speak from a North American perspective but I imagine it's a demand issue stemming from the pandemic. First there was considerable shortage of many things, but non-essential products struggled to justify obscene overpricing so they had to find other ways to maintain their survival. Now that people have begun to truly recover financially products that are non-essential but have high demand can charge almost anything. I'm a perfect example of the sort of person enabling this because even if the price of coffee tripled I wouldn't quit drinking it.

That depends on how long you would like for it to last and how well you'd like it to function. I'm pretty anal about that kind of thing and would make it a priority.

It will reduce the efficiency and eventually risk internal damage.

Gold, here’s one for ya: Would you say that there’s a notable difference between these modern coffee makers like Keurig, Nespresso, etc. and traditional powdered instant coffee? Out of those choices, do you have a preference?

I won't drink instant coffee even if it's the only option available. There is such a quality difference I struggle to call them the same thing.
