As far as modding consoles goes, was the Nintendo Wii actually one of the easier consoles to mod?

I recently modded the Wii recently so I can play gamecube games on the Nintendont app, and i was Happy i can play alot of gamecube games now, because the price for physical gamecube games are pretty expensive which its a shame now, but honestly i guess the expensive prices is sadly common with retro gaming especially with anything Nintendo related. Anyways, which one of yall agree Nintendo Wii is the easier to mod and probably the powerhouse for retro games.

I wish I could mod my original Wii but it is sadly bricked. It won't show any video whatsoever even though it can power on and take discs, the screens shows nothing and I tried two different HDMI adapters (the new one had to be refunded), nothing worked, which sucks because it was a console I had so many good memories on that system and got me into overlooked imports like Sin & Punishment and Rondo of Blood during my adolescence. At least I was able to get my Wii U modded to play backups of my Wii and Wii U library with stuff I never got to play.

I dunno, but my ex seemed to have an easy time with it.
I would fuck it up 😅

Speaking from my own experience, modding 3DS consoles is pretty easy, and foolproof as long as you stick to the instructions. Documentation for the 3DS is pretty extensive, so I think that honestly anyone could do it if they follow the instructions. The most difficult part is finding an SD Card reader haha!

Very easy. If you can follow basic instructions you can do it. A child who is familiar with computers that aren't dumbed down chromebooks or tablets can. I was 14 when I did it with Brawl. Worth it to the point that I still have it and will never sell it.

It was really easy for me to do it and I had to look at some instruction to make sure that I didn't mess up.

Have a NAND backup ready and you'll be fine. That's also super easy to do and one of the first things that you should with a newly modded system. My method? Brawl which is considered a legacy exploit in the guide. All I did was put some files on the SD card, go into stage builder, and the installer did the rest. https://wii.hacks.guide/ has it all step by step. Avoid the YouTube tutorials. I was 14 when I did this.

Wii, DS(i) and 3DS are really easy to mod. I bought a 3DS last year, found out the charger is broken but I still managed to mod it and install 2 games on a 4GB card, the battery lasts 2 or 3 hours. I had a DSi too but I somehow but I somehow broke the thingy that transforms the current or something. I had bought it for dirt cheap without a battery so it might've been broken a long time ago.
Still all of these can be modded in less than an hour.
