Prerequisites: To do this quest you first need to Become a Member of the guild.

To submit an article, go to the Articles section and click "Post Article." You'll need to select one of the existing categories—articles that don't fit any category may not be posted. More categories may be added in the future if needed.

After selecting the appropriate category, you can begin writing. It's highly recommended to use a banner or image at the top of your article to attract attention. Additional images can be added throughout if necessary.

Articles should meet a certain standard of thought and quality. If an article is considered low-effort, it may be moved here for revision or permanently deleted.

Any questions regarding Articles? Ask here.

I'm currently working on an article about my experiences with heavily outdated tech that suddenly became relevant again, but I'm unsure where to put it... maybe Retrospective?

I think it should be fine there.

Spike, I want to post a retrospective on my life as it compares to Final Fantasy 8. It would contain discussion/ alliteration about abuse and gender identification. Is any of that too much for this site? It would have a warning. Waffles said I could ask early!

You may not know, but the original North American FF8 demo was rated M.

It might be too much. it could be better suited for a thread than an article If it intends to be discussed.
Article have to be primarily about the game.

With the content being M rated, do I just post warnings at the top of the tread?

If you don't think it's appropriate all all, I'd understand.

I would want some Mod to proofread it, even if it wasn't required.

nevermind. Thanks Spike!

You can send a draft to mod @Waffles ::thinking

I accidentally published an article early. I quickly adjusted it to be more preferable, but I'm running into an issue. I wrote a conclusion to the article that does not fit into the character limit. Articles have character limits of 30,000 put for some reason editing the article brings the limit down to the standard 10,000. Is there are reason for that and, if so, is it possible for me to add the conclusion to the article?

I can't test right now but could be just a counter bug? Or does it not let you save more than 10k?

It's not letting me save more than 10k. This is the article, to be clear.
Here are some screenshots of me trying to edit it.

This is what the article currently looks like and as you can see the character count is about 350 away from the limit. The article about 9,600 characters in length right now.

I tested your hypothesis earlier and it doesn't work. The article can not go any further than 10k. I manually typed in W a couple times and it would not make any more. I also tried pasting in text to see if that affected anything and no dice. I'm guessing this is some sort of bug but not related to the counter.

So imma share something i noticed, when you wanna edit your article/review and it doesn't let you, just click on the brackets to open BB code view, for some reason, it lets you edit if its like that.

I don't question the will of The Machine Spirit.

Can I re-post old Articles that I wrote 1 to 3 years ago on Reddit ?

If it fits the guidelines, there's no rule that you can't.

I think the question is more philosophical, are *you* happy re-posting or do you have something new you want to express? It's up to you!

(Well, so as long as it's definitely yours and no one's gonna come along claiming it, but that's probably obvious.)

While old I am still really proud of them, my only issue is that I wrote them when my English was less refined so I made much more grammar mistakes, but that can be fixed, I actually wish I had made more them, but I became less active on reddit, and twitter where I became more active, isn't ideal for it, plus most of my twitter follows aren't hardcore games.

I am probably going to repost my Summon night 5 review first and slowly (Weekly) Repost, it's mostly reviews and first impression of untransled JRPGs.
