Oh I've heard of that thing! It was a LaserDisc attachment thing which had swappable bays for a Mega Drive, Mega CD, PC Engine, or PC Engine CD module. I'm not sure I realized they also developed games specifically for it.

Yes ,Time Gal was popular & available on LaserActive then ported to other consoles for example PlayStation.

I know Daphne is a fairly good LD emulator, one of the first if I'm not mistaken, and is pretty stable as I remember.
It's been forever since I used it, mind you, I just wanted to play Dragon's Lair after all and Space Ace.

I will look into Ares However, keep it on the back burner as it was, in case I ever get an itch for LD games again

They did it with Friday 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Tron, Asterix, Secret of Nimh etc

As promised with valid proof. Holy shit, these Mega LaserDisc images vary in size, compressed in a new image format known as .mmi (mixed media image), think of it as a all-in-one disc mind you. This game is 27.9GB
