Are there people who actually like this?

whose ass? it depends on that to know if is really good or really bad
Michael Moore, its really fucking bad, it sucks raw ass through a straw

Late into the game, the objectives changes entirely and it actually gets pretty fun. Not that anyone would ever find out.

I will always preface this by saying I haven't played a ton of 2600 games, but ET is honest to god one of my favorite games on that system. Right up there with Adventure, Missile Command and Hero. Most other games I've played on the system get old pretty fast and while ET isn't what I'd describe as super overhated, it's just dynamic and skillful enough that it entertains me a solid amount.
Tbh, if we talk about atari games, I'm into more arcade experiences like Berzerk, which is my favorite. I tried more "complex" games, but they filter me easy.

Well not a fan of super hero game unless is Marvel vs Capcom.

But I haven't play the Batman and Spiderman that one might change someday.

I'll have to give it a shot, it looks pretty cool!

We need a decent superman game. This one still one of the biggest pile of garbage ever created.
The one Sunsoft was making that got turned into Sunman was pretty good.

I recommend this one:

Keep in mind that it has to be patched over the Lex Luthor version, which has to be patched over the Sunman European prototype ROM.

Never heard about this one. I'll check out ty !

so here's a story. when i was a kid i threw that game in the trash. not because it was a bad game, but because it was a rental i never returned.

when i was about 5 years old my dad rented that game for me from a rental store and we forgot to return the game. 5+ years later i looked at the game cartridge and felt so guilty that i didn't return it i threw the game away. this was probably well after place we rented it from closed down.

What people don't tell you about this game is that flying through hoops is the least horrible part. I played it and it was mostly just boring but then you get to the on ground segment and holy shit its unplayable. Like physically painful.

Ive played it, I've beat it, its not good. Its one of the most unresponsive games ive ever played id say, but i think Batman Beyond return of the joker, which is ALSO on the same console might i add, is a worse game and I feel like it doesnt get talked about nearly as much as it should.

Its a shame roo because the movie its based on is fantastic

Ok now I'm morbidly curious.

I'd love to try the PSX version.

Don't ask about those Atari games.... Oh... My....
The only Superman game I ever liked was the arcade game. Yeah, low hanging fruit, but you just get in there and go.

FUCK THAT NES ABOMINATION. Superman Super Mario Style? Get the fuck outta here.
Then came that Genesis game. OK... Wait. I have to unlock the other powers? Fuck you game.
I'd given up after that on ever wanting a Superman game, and missed that system anyhow.

Isn't there a PC version of Superman 64 in the works? I would play that. Maybe with mods if any of them exist. There's gotta be some way to fix the game.

What if Superman 64 was made by Lex Luthor and the real Superman is trapped inside the cartridge forced to fly through rings in his virtual prison until someone beats the game?
The story of S64 itself is a virtual-world created by Lex Luthor to seal Superman (That's literally the whole lore of the game)
