Anyone here love mecha model kits? Show ur collection off!

recently i've been into mecha model kits, like the 30 minute missions, megami device, and some gunpla ><

if you have any and you'd like to share pls share it here cos i have this itch for mecha model stuff rn idk why
i've been so obsessed with custom acerbies, or custom altos, hell even some custom 30 minute sisters stuff.

I got third place in a competition for this one. I also have a terrible camera so it isn't doing the model any courtesies.

I don't have them any more, but I built a couple of gundam models at a job I used to have. I don't know characters or whatever, but one was white and red with a samurai sword, and the other was a pink one that might've had purple highlights? I think models are fun, I just always balk at the prices.

Alas when i saw model planes and trains and cars and the like, they were too expensive for me back 20 years ago. And they are still too expensive now.

I'm talking $20-$60 per model kit. Sure some of them look awesome when they are completed, but that's not something i have the patience for. Thus this extends to Mecha too, though they weren't an option before.

that's amazing! i've always loved the custom settings people use it's so much effort. i just put mine on stands but i do want to create a diorama with my model kits someday

I just always balk at the prices.

yeah the prices can be crazy that's also why i like the the high grade stuff at smaller scales (1/144), 30 Minute Missions/Sisters are pretty affordable too with most of them being under $20

so i don't feel the pain too much if i want to do a custom paint job and botch it xD
