Anyone getting any slowdowns lately

it's random for me. if there's a lot of videos linked on a page or if the memory usage surges up, then yeah, loading does take a moment. if not, then it's almost instantaneous. pretty sure that's just on my end with my computer. it's just a regular laptop i got from walmart. the site runs very smoothly otherwise.

I can see embed being a problem but embeds aren't hosted by us.

Ok joking aside, yeah works fine on my End. aside the site going down yesterday for a few minutes.
Tried on a Chromebook and reg linux laptop yesterday when it Went down. thought maybe something had went wonky on my browsers end on This PC

It went down yesterday cos I tried to put too many sparkles on a mod's name. Ran out of memory.

yeah. right now everything is running smooth. even got a youtube video playing. i guess embeds take up a decent chunk of processing power and memory.

Hey buddies, I would like to point out that now, especially because of some colored and flashing nicknames, scrolling the page on Android is very slow, jerky and difficult, especially in correspondence with some usernames, which did not happen before. Have you noticed? This is more than a small annoyance; it is a strong impediment!

Couple days ago i was getting particularly bad speed. Like 10-20k/s. Changing VPN points did fix it somewhat but not always. Maybe it was just peak steaming time during the day, who knows.

most likely. i've noticed at certain times of the day and days of the week that internet speeds vary; they'll either be slow as a snail, or sonic fast.
