I recently got given a bunch of Symbaroum books by a friend of mine who is have a clear out (he has like, 40+ RPGs and that is a looooot of books)

I've been reading it through to see if it's a good contendor for my next campaign, and I sort of like what they've done with the game so far. It really focuses on a smaller region thatn we'd normally get, so there's a decent amount of detail put into making the setting seem alive.

Anyone here have experience with the game? I've not reached the mechanical parts of the book yet so I have 0 ideas how it's going to differ to other RPGs.

i cant believe it, its senzar again
Whelp, I had never heard of Senzar before today, so that's new for me.

Honestly if we're comparing black metal RPGs surely Mork Borg would be a better fit thematically?

Or wait, is Symbaroum mechnically similar to Senzar?

EDIT: this write-up on the game is solid fuckin' gold. This shit sounds whacky
