After decades of being a marvel guy, I dipped out of reading anything they did entirely. (not for any content reason) I just felt like Secret Wars ending was a nice jumping off point back in the day and just never bothered reading what happened after. Something about how DWJ handled the first arc of Transformers just got me hooked, I binged the first arc of void rivals in one sitting. I feel like they handle G1 really well. I get the people wanting to see more 'new' stuff but I am enjoying the slower pace, taking its time with the characters from early G1 It led me to check out what other stuff is going on, really enjoying Something is Killing the Children at the moment.
