found this thing in my attic called Yplayer, how rare is this? i have not seen anybody talk about this device.
i have no idea old this thing is.
its made by gametech.
the games look like they were made in the 90s or early 2000s

Seems to be a GameTech YPlayer. Cannot find jack on a price though, except one site selling for 20 pounds

WIth how little info there is online about this thing, I don't think it will be very easy to sell. However, it looks like a portable console with its own games, so depending on if it works and what games there are in its memory, maybe a collector might be interested. You can try posting it on collector's groups and ask them to make an offer.

Looks like your model is called Gametech yPlayer IV specifically and the only info about it I could find was in either Swedish or Finnish so I guess it was something sold in Scandinavia. Found a few listings for it.

I never had one of these things, but I recognize some of the games in the video that Graw posted – they were standard Chinese-knockoff handheld games that appeared on loads and loads of cheap handhelds in the late 2000s. I can't imagine this device is worth very much, especially used, because it was likely very common, but you may be able to get a small amount of scratch out of it on eBay if you sell it to a collector (or for parts).

i swear that i've seen at least 2 other knock off game systems with these very same games. the graphics and aesthetics look identical to some of the stuff in projared's, rerez and darklordjadow's vids on knock consoles.
