I recently started playing the Legend of Heroes Dragon Slayer series. I'm currently playing part 1 on Turbo Grafx-CD. I realized there was a JAP release for parts 1 and 2 on the PSX as one game remade. I was curious if there were any fan translations available. I tried a Google search but couldn't come up with anything. My other option is to use the AI translation tool in Retroarch, which I've used in the past. But also was wondering, are there any other auto translation tools like the one in RetroArch that are more reliable/accurate?

There isn't one. Currently there is no English translation for any version of Legend of Heroes II. Too bad, as I liked the first one. I wish someone would translate the Genesis version as it's the only one to my knowledge that gets rid of the UI that takes up a lot of the screen.

Looks like I'll he using the translation tool. I can read rough japanese so i should be able to pick out some things without translating.

'Retroarch emulator has a translator machine that will translate for you. It works pretty well. There are a few guides to set it up. It's not real hardware but it makes playing it a lot easier with the emulator doing the translations.' someone wrote it on reddit.

The PSP remakes have horrible translations, ironically, so those really deserve a new one. I'm not saying "horrible translation" in the usual fussy "they changed two names and removed a porno mag gag item" way, I mean that it reads like machine translated garbage. The first few hours of each game is fine, so it can trick you, and then it's like they decided not to edit/proofread the scripts at all.
