Life on Earth on Genesis is pretty cool. And I have to mention the king of homebrew, Nazi Zombies Portable for PSP/Vita. I've been playing that game since like 2014 and it's crazy how deep they went into making it as faithful as possible under the Quake engine. Still kinda exploring homebrew myself so I don't have too many I can recommend.
