On PS2 there"s Mortal Kombat Shaolin monks, Baldur gate Dark alliance 1 and 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1, X men Legends 2, I think Twisted Metal Black has a split screen mode, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3, DB AF for the laughs, Sonic riders, Naruto Ultimate Ninja 5 and Mortal Kombat Armageddon. those are the ones I think of.

On PSX there's a lot of fighting games that have split screen mode. Also check Crash Team Racing

Hunter the Reckoning Wayward is a Ps2, top-down, zombie game. I feel like the cutscenes are laughably bad though.

The PS systems actually kind of lack local co-op titles. Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is fun, though. Trap Gunner is a really unique 1v1 game, though not co-op.

Hope ya like Medieval Fantasy RPGs, since I'm not seeing squat for 2P Co-op on PS2. Well, other than this;

Missed opportunity for Sony not producing more 2P Co-op games on PS2. Dafuq were they thinking. -smh-

Oh yeah, I forgot the Dark Alliance/Champions games on PS2. Those are fun. There's also that co-op Lord of the Rings action game, which can't be found anywhere now because the license expired or whatever...

Didn't realize I was practically correct in that. ?

There really ain't shit for 2P Co-op on Sony consoles for the most part.. I guess that's why I mostly remember playing my Playstation by myself, in my room. Alone. ?

People forget now, but that was almost the stereotype of PS players at the time. I remember a Nintendo executive complaining that the PS1 was outselling the N64 because kids were becoming antisocial JRPG fanatics. In the West it didn't really have that reputation because the PS1 was big for sports games.
