Today was another hot day here in Germany and very unpleasant.
Of course it is nice to sunbathe a little but somehow it has become very unpleasant in recent years.
We are constantly being told about climate change but I'm not sure why it has suddenly become hotter here in Europe in recent years.
What do you all think about climate change because it affects the whole world.

I'm freezing here in Argentina it may start snowing tonight, your post sound lovely to me.
About the climate change, there has been a lot and more severe climate changes throughout the history of our world(even when we weren't around), I don't think is entirely our fault.

Well G

Well good thing is that most German Homes don't have a Air Conditioner (Sarcasm) its sucks having to leave like in the Middle Ages here in Germany, well I have a Fan that I have to constantly be turned on to not sweat myself all day.I even had to let it on to sleep so unbearable was the Heat. And I heard we get even hotter weather Tomorrow.

That it snows in Argentina is really new to me, I thought there were only summer temperatures.

Is that not more Africa and the Middle East that have no snow ?.
I am sure they get some snow in South America probably more in Chile or something but I am not sure,

I'm on the northeastern coast of the US. We tend to run a tad bit cooler than everyone because of the lakes. This past Tuesday was 90+ degrees, though. Terrible.

I think climate shifts happen. Big corporations are mostly responsible, not little people like us. What can ya do?

roughly from the middle to the south is cold weather mostly and snow is very common. But in recent decades snow has been falling on the north side too.

We can always sweat to death I suppose just another casualty in the System.
Well I am not sure what can be done realistically. And I don't want to get politically here this is why I don't get further into it.

Read this well guess who drove this ICE train One thing you can believe me is how hot it can get in a train, it's really crazy a brand new train a pile of junk that isn't even heat resistant.

It's ok. We can all just play video games in a big sweaty cuddle puddle

Ah die DB schon wieder oder nicht.Well at least we have a rotting infrastructure in Germany including our Public Transfer system. They really are stingy on everything.

Oh yeah that's true
Sadly it is.And I doubt they will ever fix the DB ever.At that point we should just abolish the DB and create new Konzerne/Firmen to Manage our Trains they could maybe do a better Job than the DB.

This is still to come, I heard that the executives in Berlin are afraid for their jobs definitely something will happen.

Here in southern Italy where I live (unfortunately) we have already reached 40 degrees. Every time this period comes, it is so hot that I stop using normal consoles and switch to portable ones.
Some of my relatives live in Heidelberg, and say that isn't that hot over there, but I guess it depends on the zones.
According to the latest studies, Europe - they still don't know why - is warming up much more (and faster) than the rest of the world. As I see it, the attempted "anti-warming" agreements of the various countries are useless: we have already passed the point of no return, and hoping to obtain something in such a long period of time (from now to 2030 or even 2050) is delusional and stupid. The only way would be if the entire world in unison shut down all the factories, stopped using internal combustion engine vehicles, in short, return to the pre-industrial era in one fell swoop... 🫤

I doubt something good will come out if this. They should get rid of the State Owned DB and let Private Companies compete with each other over the customers so that they have to give a good Service. Its not good that the DB has a complete Monopoly on our Trains and its showing.

We can wait a long time for industry to do something for the climate. Money is more important than something like climate.
