Alerts not alerting all

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

As far as i know, it always notifies only for first unread message on each watched thread.

I guess the logic behind it is that if you really like to watch a thread, one notification for it would be enough, and if you don't visit it, it won't bother you again.
Interesting automatic system, but probably not everyone are a fan of it.

Clicking on a later notification and then missing everything before it would be more annoying.

On ones i'm interested in i tend to open each post and then glance through the replies as necessary. Course the 'auto watch' on every thread you reply to is also annoying.

Very true. this is another good reason for it. (y)

Actually i like the auto-watch feature. it matches well with current "notify only first unread" system.
Nevertheless, you can disable auto-watch in your account preferences if you like.

Exactly! That's right. To avoid the so-called "Notifications Bomb" on the phone's home screen. But sometimes it still happens to me, regarding replies to the numerous threads I've participated in, especially when I wake up in the morning. ??‍♂️

Fucking click it then. I always have to tap to refresh alerts, so I learned to do it religiously, just like I check the Repo for updates religiously, just like I used to check RHDN and CDR religiously, sometimes every 10 seconds!
Just  check once in awhile, omfg.

Ohhh....What a religious person! Who would have thought. ?

Beware: There have been no replies in this thread for 90 days.
Keep that in mind when expecting a reply from the people on it,
You can also start a new thread instead. This is just a heads-up, bumping is allowed in this forum.
