Adding a block button

I know there's a ignore button, but it would be better if there is a block function.
Or a way to type a user's name in a block list.
And make it so that you can't see the user at all or let them interact with you.

I'm not against it, but I couldn't find much info about it, either. Looks like it's been a bit of a "wishlist" item within the XenForo community for a while.

I tried the 'ignore' button, only for weirdness to happen that it seemed ultimately not worth it.

I'm not sure blocking (depending on how it's different) would be any better.

I don't think that's a great idea, blocking DMs is fine but being unable to see the user's post would make some threads incomprehensible.

You already can hide user's post by using "Ignore".

That does make sense, but maybe redacting their name could work.
