Do you have a Accent while speaking English and if how strong is your Accent or do you say you have no Accent in English.
For me its a bit funny I would say I have no German accent normally when I speak English but when I need to read loudly I become Arnold Schwarzenegger in terms of German accent for some reason
Ill Be Back Arnold Schwarzenegger GIF

its very weird but when I speak English its funny because I don't try to speak ''Standard'' English but more a mix of southern States/Irish and overall American English and maybe some British English ya get me lad.

English is just one of those languages..
Being the current "lingua franca," and thus spoken by so many people across such a wide stretch of the planet, an "accent" is simply unavoidable... even among those who only speak English..
It's a pretty common phenomenon here in the U.S. for people to assume that they "don't have an accent." That is, until they visit another part of the country, and then anyone & everyone from there can almost instantly tell the general region of the country that they're from..

Hollywood English

I could also imitate British TV accent over the phone and such, but never F2F as I would be slower speaking that way that makes it look unnatural...

Everyone has an accent, it all depends on where you're from. When I went to the States with a group of friends some of the people there mentioned our accent, even though we're all native English speakers from Canada. None of us had really though about it up to that point, but even similar areas have a slightly different way of pronouncing things.

Probably had to do with either your use of "ohh, Ya-know?" and/or (even more likely) the way you pronounce the "ou" in words like "abOUt." Those are some of the tells that even give away people like Jordan Peterson..

For me, it's the (albeit mild) "southern drawl" that leads to the frequent use of informal contractions like "y'all"..

English is the only language I speak fluently.
I'd say all English speakers have an accent. It is spoken natively so many different places that there isnt really a "standard" even in England.

That said, I grew up in California and now live in The South, so I'd say I have mostly the former with a bit of the latter influence. (I say "dude" but I also say "y'all" lol)
