I've only ever played the PSX version up to now, and there are major differences that are immediately noticeable when I played the Saturn version. First the graphics on the Saturn are way better, like there are more background stuff like trees layered throughout, and the special moves look much, much better. The Spirit Bomb actually looks like a sphere, while on the PSX the bomb looked like blocks of hexagon fused together. Another difference is the gameplay. It's much, much tighter on the PSX, while it's loose, and all over the place for the Saturn, it's just a mess. The PSX one got it right, idk wtf they did with the Saturn's. I'd love a hack where the Saturn version controls be just like the PSX's, and it'd be perfect then. Also the narrating by Kai has been completely removed on the Saturn, or at least on THIS version. Happy gaming. This was THE dream game for alot of DBZ fans back in the 90's. I know it was mine.

yeah DBZ didn't get a good fighting game until FighterZ in my opinion. it's perfect.

I am hyped to try it out, any excuse to boot up the old Saturn is worth it. Bless France for doing the leg work, the Saturn was more popular in Europe than most people realise, it just got shafted when Sega of America abandoned it & the flow of western games stopped.

Now if by some miracle we could get the Digimon, Evangelion or Nadesico games in English.
If only they had a translation in any language.
