Wonder how it will handle rom hacks such as GoldFinger 64? That ran at...oooooo 8 to 15 fps on original hardware.
Still finished the game, it was pretty good.

Anyway is this why N64 stuff is getting expensive again? Goddamm

4k resolutions when the N64's textures were 16bit.
CRT displays & the N64's inbuilt anti aliasing did a lot of heavy lifting.

Does it support X7? I play the N64 through my RetroTink 4K via s-video. I'm not sure how much better this would look.

Not yet from what I've seen.

I think Krikzz will either fix it, or the 3D will just get jailbreak firmware within a few months like the rest of their consoles.

Hope you give stuff like Goldfinger 64 a try, and see how Rareware's PAL versions of their games look on the console. Oh, and how it handles the 64DD feature on the Summer Cart. All the video reviews I've seen don't mention any of these things.
