Ask Me Anything
Movie genre that you won’t be caught dead watching?

Comedy, Action... And Videogames Live Action.
(Yes, the Super Mario Brothers Movie from 1993, impacted me, in various aspects...
There is a fan site, including new material, including an entire fight, with a rival plumbering company...)

The plus:
The main reason of the impact it is because of the "Dimension Division (by a meteor)", making some sense to some obscures aspects to the series.
Besides, the original OVA of the first Super Mario Brothers, from Japan, explains even more stuff to be revealed...

If you got teleported into the world of the last game you played, would you survive?

Did you ever successfully hunt the mist?
Yes... I did it once, some years ago.
After all, I was like a Hunter, against my enemies.
And then, in part, Divine Justice has been served (just saying)...
If you got teleported into the world of the last game you played, would you survive?
Technically speaking, yes and no.
The last game I was playing...
Grim fandango. A free ticket to the Underworld and beyond.

What did mist ever do to you? :(

What exactly is the "Secret Midnight"?

What did mist ever do to you? :(
I was sleepy, replying...
It is in a metaphorical or figurative sense, not any character called Mist (like for example, Rune Factory's Mist.
She is quite eccentric, but charming character).

What caused you to start the "which user would you date?" What were you thinking at the time?
It all began, with a certain gamble I lost.
What I mean is, the person behind the idea of the thread, full credits, I'm just the mere host of the thread.
And yes, for curiousity's sake of that person, I'm doing a solid to that user ;)
So...

Keep searching the identity of the person! : D
(Or DM, just to tell if you discovered who is)

Actually, no idea, but sounds cool.
JustLooking123, along with Clippy, Zerpina and norunove, helped me to create the Custom Title!
And I like it.

What make MistHunter horny, the date thread?
You can't be serious, lady? Dx"

Well, I said it before (but not in -that- sense -_-):
"I want to find a woman as fascinating to talk to as she is beautiful, all night long, until dawn.
And there must be someone who can overcome the illusion that broke my heart.
A true... "Partner in Life".
I know there is someone outside, I'm sure of this and I have faith".
However, I'm in a retro game forum, I'm expecting to meet a lot of people and having friends here first, of course ": D

What's a story or event that has changed how you view yourself or the world around you?

. . .
This is quite a complicated one...
My childhood, was marked by a golden and brilliant (yet unknown) sun...
My life changed in various parts, actually.

Thr earliest:
Watching Anime (one of the earliest, was a VHS of Kishin Douji Zenki, mind blowing, if you ask me, because my father was... An irresponsible and avaricious one).
Along with the revolution of the Super Nintendo/Famicom!

The next one:
Re-Discovering Videogames again, after the lost of a cherished rent-and-play (at the moment) store, thanks to re-discovering a magazine, in the moment, Nintendo Gamecube and GameBoy Advance, was the sensation.
Around the same year, that confusing morning when happened the 9/11... A rare feeling, flooded everywhere, like the entire world changed forever in a sutile way.
And of course, before 2000, discovering Emulation in my aunt's house, with Pokémon Red (IN COLOURS) was indeed a revolution!
The sun, has become a little more opaque, since that days...

Next one:
During and after living in a maritime city, around 2006-2007...
My mother finished a relationship and we moved back to the big city. And ended in a bad collegue, for my father's fault. Sometimes he has not the best ideas and with reasons. I met some friends (more of this, later) and the city changed in some senses.

This is an special one.
Christmas of 2009 (or 2010):
Decide to be a Game Developer, after seeing the Nintendo Power (Issue/Volume 262, if I'm not mistaken)... And it began, my odyssey to be one...

Next one:
2014.
It was a hellish year to me, emotionally speaking...
All of my ex-friends, abandoned or betrayed me, but nothing compared to the scam I suffered (right into my first year of University)... And some party, from some of the ex-friends, was an awful idea, not expecting (almost) an entire ambush... Figuratively and literally speaking, in part, dodged some bullets... And others, not so lucky...

And now:
Reaching here, the forum, meeting you.
And I'm grateful...

Thanks for the insight. For what it's worth I find you very interesting!

Good luck on your path to becoming a Game Developer ? I hope the Sun is radiant for you then.

Strange question, probably, but what is a game that you thought you wouldn't like, whether it be because it's from a genre you're not into or it just didn't seem like you would like it, but you played it and you ended up loving it?

JRPG's in general.
It was an initial trip.

In the previous question and answer, I said I found revolution with Emulation (before 2000).
I discovered first Pokémon, through the Anime and not for Videogame Franchise (as is, and in colours, mind blowing).
So, before finding Pokémon Red, I played and tested a lot of Super Nintendo/Famicom Emulation, during some eventual visits. Between this visits and 2001, in a school, during computer classes (ZSNES Emulators, everywhere in that place)...

The main situation is...
Dragon Quest - Dai no Daibouken Anime (A.K.A. Fly's Adventure) and playing the remake of the first Dragon Quest for Super Famicom...
Gave me a bittersweet moment (more for the latter, to be honest).

My odyssey with JRPG, began from an unknown moment to another with Final Fantasy - Mystic Quest (and accidentally confusing it with Final Fantasy 4, or it was the other way around?, can't remember).

Years later, got emulation on my own, began to search...
Meanwhile, playing Pokémon series.

Let's just say, got a recharge in later in 2007-2008...
Playing Final Fantasy 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6 Advance, got nailed and addicted.

Slowly remembering, thanks to the launching of Dragon Quest 9...
Along with (the culprit of this part) a Facebook "game", gave me some bittersweet moments (waiting) in life:
Castle Age.

Played both and my fever for JRPG got empowered...
Wanted to know more...
Played Dragon Quest Remakes for Super Famicom (1, 2, 3, 5 & 6), meanwhile watching classic series like Slayers and other classic Anime series.

...Got the fever...

Later in 2015, DQ 7 (it was a another-disastrous university year, same career), but enjoyed it with a shining sunset not seen in years... And some time later Dragon Quest 8.

And so on, playing as much as I can...
And watching Dai no Daibouken Anime Remake.

One of the projects I'm trying to do, has to do with Dragon Quest 9 and Castle Age (as inspiration), the latter for leaving me a wasting of my time, and wanted to re-create a better experience, that left much to desire (thanks to Castle Age, of course).

I studied some years, from GameFAQs guides and other websites through the net, saciating my curiosity (beyond JRPG's, Videogame trivia in general), studying, learning...

And pretty much, that happened ._./
(At least, from the JRPG perspective and not other genres...)

Favorite dinner or meal?

What is your least favorite game and why>

. . .
Castle Age, because is a wait-to-play "game" (along with other wasted potential) and in part, in my life, wasting time for just waiting.

And. . .

"Hardhead" (Arcade)
The game is pure cringe... Even suggestive.
Even has a SEQUEL.
I finished it.
Never in my life, regretted to play something
SO CRINGE D8"
(Is not bad game, but is Full Cringe, to me).

Hypotetically speaking, if I have a list of Finished Videogames...
Hardhead is out, no questions, no argues, no problem.
It does not count o_o;/

What's your favorite Mega Man game?

What's your favorite Mega Man game?
There are two favorites.
Megaman Network Transmission (for Nintendo Gamecube).
Since Battle Network is a Spin-Off (an alternate universe)...
(By the way, I have seen your timeline exposition, fake-kun, must check some time later, it has some interesting stuff, I must say)

...Playing the game, without so many restrictions (with the Battlechips), and being a platformer reaching every corner, with a less infuriating and simpler maze exploration and balanced distribution of the enemies, it was a satisfying experience...
It is comfortable, yet challenging.
The story is simple and delightful (sometimes impactful) the Boss Rematch in the Park (from all the places, lol) is better than the surprising wild goose chase, hide-and-seek higher versions, through the net.
You must simply rematch 'em in the park.

The music composition of the levels, is a wink to the main classic series and varied (in a sense), to just be there and listen some good minutes (and making opportunity to get enough chips with the respawning enemies).

Capcom with Arika, made one-of-a-kind game, from my perspective.
Megaman Battle Network sub-series deserves another Platform game, like this (if there was another chance to launch another title, back then).

Can you imagine playing it without battlechip restrictions?
I tested it, along with Battle Network 2 and the outcome is truly dynamic and insane.
Bright Man plays no fair, and Frog Man, is quite the challenge to take down (without good reflexes).

Becoming one my favorite games.
It was worth the wait, up to 13 years, to finally emulate it in Dolphin (no kidding around, I wanted it since the first time I saw it in a magazine).

The other one is Megaman X6...
Only for rescuing the Reploids (and its rewards), ranking up with the Nightmare mechanics, replaying for the same reason, not even finishing sometimes the game, lol...
It is imperfect and hard (Blaze Heatnix, anyone?), yet, enjoying it, every time.

Keiji Inafune going to vacations, and then suddenly found X6 in the baking, without telling him, is hilarious.

This game, debutted in my life, with Mario & Luigi 1 - SuperStar Saga, back then.

And actually, there is a third one, as a special mention.

Megaman & Bass/Rockman & Forte
(A.K.A. Megaman 8.5).

Back in 2001, with that school and computer class with ZSNES Emulator everywhere, took the opportunity to play Megaman 7 and Rockman & Forte.

The initial stage of Megaman 7, was the thrill among the children, including me.
Nobody beats the mini-boss, until I stepped forward, learning his movements and evading as best as I can.
My playtime finished, when Bass appeared.
Since I was losing the match, they took me away from the PC (and I'm not losing a life there, my school partners in that place were selfish)...

Almost the same with Megaman & Bass initial level.
Almost nobody can overcome the fire and lava section, and when we did it, absolute nobody survived beyond the ship and spiked ceiling section. And with Bass. Everyone, choosed Bass, no exceptions.

Years later, in a better time, my mother was successful with her work.
This is a time, rediscovering Super Nintendo/Famicom Roms (loved Megaman X, topic apart, the most wanted Rom, before Paper Mario 1).
And re-discovered the game.

Played it.
An enriching experience, with its unique features.
Played it some times, not because it is a classic and quality game.
The 100 CD's are another incentive to play it again, and knowing more about the classic series, from a more insightful (and comical) perspective.
The hardest fight to me, no matter the character, is the King Tank. The second final level, is a test to endurance (of course, using and choosing wisely your weapons, to save ammunition).

And for now, this is what I can tell, about my favorite Megaman games :->

It's funny how almost all of your favorite Mega Man games are my most hated ones. Truly, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

It's funny how almost all of your favorite Mega Man games are my most hated ones. Truly, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
I can't believe this from you, fake-kun
The quote has a meaningful sense, in this case.

There are few games I despise (or just not liking, or waste my time), but that does not mean, you can't take the good parts from the bad games, and still playing them, after all :->

Some games are out of the list, for specific reasons, very specific reasons (and not exactly for being bad games or despising it, even finished some of them).
I mean, Stargazers is the "Legendary Kusoge" and in my wishlist, to play it.

One of this "out-of-the-list" games is...
Hardhead 1 (from Arcade, not a bad game, just the
cringiest) o_o;/
(the previous question and answer, by the way).
