I love seeing stuff like this getting preserved given that launch events are quickly becoming a thing of the past -- at least compared to what they once were.

The still for that video is pure accidental renaissance, haha. I'd seriously frame that and put it up in my gaming corner.
 
Freaking love stuff like this. There's also other great ones up on YT with a husband and wife picking up their PS2 at launch, and the husband was playing Smuggler's Run when they got home. Another is X-Box Halo related where friends wait all night for the release, get home, and play it together till sun up.
