Random 60 fps vs 30 fps

If the game allows for 60fps, I’m going to prefer it almost automatically. If it doesn’t, then it’s usually not a huge deal, except for a few occasions (couldn’t get into the console version of KCD because the shitty first person camera and the 30fps made me dizzy).

60 is nice.

Now when some players want "120 or nothing" I kinda don't get it.

FPS in gaming is just a way to cultivate the urge for more expensive gear. If you have the money go for 60, if not 30 is fine.

It's like going to MacDonald's with a Toyota Aygo or a Lexus lbx. The latter will give you a smoother ride, but your Crispy Mcbacon will, in the end, taste mostly the same.

I watch a youtube gaming news show called Spawn Wave almost every morning and it's a great show if you're interested in that sort of thing.
Anyway, the host of the show seems to be obsessed with games running at 60 fps vs 30 fps. I have never noticed the difference and finally went online to watch youtube videos comparing the two.
I STILL can't see any difference. Some people in the comments of the videos said that you need to "train your eyes" to see the difference.
However, if it leads to me enjoying 30 fps games less, maybe it's something that I don't want to train my eyes to do.
The fps thing seems to be a big deal to people these days.
What are your thoughts on this?
When I played the OG resident evil 4 on PC, I played it on 60 FPS, until a level where at the end of it you had to do a QTE, and because of how that port was programed I had to lower the FPS back to 30 for that level, and it gave me a headache , because I was already used to playing it at 60 FPS, If I am already used to play a game at 60 FPS, going back to 30 FPS will give me a headache.

Im brain damaged I don´t see the difference between 60 and 30 fps.... BUT I feel it you can feel the lag.

How ever 60 vs 120 or even 240fps that 0 difference in looks or feel but if you have 80-90 fps and it drops down 10fps you don´t notice it so I would say 80-120 to 240fps is more like a nice buffer that you don´t feel or so much if it drops 5-15fps.

And no you don´t see or feel 120-240fps if you do then you a super human or a god.

I honestly can't tell the difference between 30 and 60, but I know some people definitely can.
I've noticed before when a game has slowed down to a slide show when there's a LOT going on, and don't know what frame rate that was. I assume it was a lot lower than 30 fps when that happens though!

I honestly can't understand how people can't notice the difference. You might need a medical check up or something.

Like I said before, I don't care either way. I enjoy games whether they are 30 fps or 60ps, but there absolutely is a difference that you can tell.
