5 JRPGs to Inspire FF17

None of the games mentioned in the article are actually that good or original, just think about it for a moment:

1- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is only popular because people are starving for more turn based RPGs so they will accept anything at this point.

2- Metaphor: ReFantazio is just another Persona game made by Atlus, so Atlus fans will love it no matter what.

3- Xenoblade Chronicles X is a Nintendo game, so even if it was total crap Nintendo fans would love it more than anything.

4- The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak is yet ANOTHER Legend of Heroes made by Falcom, so nothing original or special but Falcom fans will swear it is the best thing in the world.

If FF17 ends up being like any of those games it WILL flop harder that FF16 ever did.

I wouldn't like a political drama story in FF, I like traditional fantasy jrpg stories, something more like Fantasian neo Dimension, if there's one game they should inspire from to make the new FF is that one

I don't think it's the best one but its gameplay is for sure more engaging than BBS
