Onimusha 1 fits the bill. What did you think about Kuon? I was like "woah" when i saw the box art, and the game has good elements but its somewhat boring to play. Had more fun playing the soguroku minigame.

kuon is that type of slow burn game, fromsoftware tried a way different direction for this game, the action is limited and varies on each char, because there are 3 main characters with various routes and phases, the horror element though, is very strong, with the whole setting and atmosphere during the jap heien era, has some good jumpscare scenes as well

Forgotten Memories. Very Silent Hill coded. Kinda stranded on mobile devices, which sucks, but worth your time if you’re in the mood for a throwback.

The Hellblade games are also contenders.

curse the eye of isis
conscript
the evil within
Heaven dust maybe?
late homework
Your spider is a weird one, the spider sections are third person, the ones with the human are first person
song of horror

Shattered Memories, IDC it lacks the combat of the past games, i LOVE how much it predicted the Survival Horror in Indies, what it lacks in combat more than is made up with atmosphere and games that determine your ending as well as working as YOUR (As in the one holding the controller) Analysis

For extra inmersion, try the Wii Version

HollowBody, great game, the developer added a 3rd person mode
Also If you want to play something similar to a PS2 game in 2025, that is your answer ?.

Most of the games are already mentioned lol. Does Little Nightmares count? There's not much going on in the game of course, but I love it
