Do you guys think that the 32X if it had not failed and lasted on the market at least another year and a half would have showcased more games only possible on it and not on the ones with an fx chip or the genesis with some chip they used for virtual racing or whatever? And of its games which do you think did showcase this?
I ws playing Zaxxon on it and loved the polygon work the enemies coming at you even tho it slowed the game down. I think this was one such example of. game that definitely showed next generation tech or something not able to be done on a super nintendo with an fx chip.
Speaking of which sonic XTreme would have been interesting as fuck on the 32x if they finished it. I mean it really did look like a game not possible on snes/genesis but also sort of laughable on Saturn or n64 or psi something in between.
I wish such a system took off like a 3bit 3d system with mostly 2d but slight 3d aspects to it like 3do/32x/jaguar etc they all failed.
this game showcases what Im talking about well what the system could have been guys could have been if given. chance to shine:

I think if the 32X had a joystick like a pc style sidewinder attachment available nd analog sticks it could have worked. anyone agree guys?
