Case and point there is or at least from my POV see no reason in playing these games like how they came out in the 80s if there is an updated version i would just go with that , sure these games have and hold a lot of weight as they would place the pillars of the video games as we know but other than their historical significance? I don't think so Other than educational purposes there is not much reason to look up these games like yay let's find out what's the first JRPG or the first RTS ok this how it looked like this is how it played this is how the genre started nice that's all i need to know.
