Originally a game with the malware that was Starforce DRM, I installed this game on a VM and extracted the files out from it to skip the installation process where Starforce would have been installed. I even restarted my computer after a game session to make sure I wouldn't get OS locked, tried it on my laptop and even had a friend test it too. Our OS's were fine and no harm was done.
Apparently Starforce just can't work with Windows 10/11 anyways says PCGamingWiki.
